Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy – Established in 1974, MCEA uses law, science, and research to protect Minnesota’s environment, its natural resources, and the health of its people. – Building a global grassroots climate movement that can hold our leaders accountable to the realities of science and the principles of justice. That movement is rising from the bottom up all over the world, and is uniting to create the solutions that will ensure a better future for all.
Citizens Climate Lobby– Exists to create the political will for climate solutions by enabling individual breakthroughs in the exercise of personal and political power. As empowered citizens, they talk with neighbors, friends, and local officials about how national climate action can help ensure a healthy future while strengthening the American economy.
National Resources Defense Council – Combine the power of more than two million members and online activists with the expertise of some 500 scientists, lawyers, and policy advocates across the globe to ensure the rights of all people to the air, the water, and the wild.
Greenpeace– Independent campaigning organization that uses peaceful protest and creative communication to expose global environmental problems and to promote solutions that are essential to a green and peaceful future.
National Audobon Society – Conserve and restore natural ecosystems, focusing on birds, other wildlife, and their habitats for the benefit of humanity and the earth’s biological diversity.
